1987 Bar plays music from the eighties and decorates to match. It calls itself the first eighties-themed discopub in Spain, which is its own claim and not one anyone else has checked.
The room is small and there is a dance floor in it, plus a terrace on the Alameda de Hercules. The crowd is mixed rather than strictly gay, and it gets going late, after the bars on the side streets have emptied out.
It sits on the Alameda itself rather than on Calle Arias Montano or Amor de Dios, so it is the easy one to find.
