Haddock Bar is a pub on Calle de Valliciergo, in the Tetuán quarter east of the centre. It won the Premio Aleguita in 2025, the annual award of the Cantabrian LGBTI+ association Alega, and Alega's own scene guide singles it out for good music and a large LGBTI+ crowd.
The bar puts on live music and works as a pub rather than a club, with room to talk and a bar rather than a dance floor. It presents itself as a general nightlife venue: the queer crowd here is a matter of who turns up rather than how the place advertises itself.
