The Boss is the gay sauna in the centre of Santa Cruz, on Avenida Tres de Mayo. It was rebuilt not long ago and the fit-out is modern rather than worn in.

There is a Finnish sauna, a steam room, a jacuzzi, private cabins, showers and a bar, and a cruising area kept dark. Erotic films run continuously in the jacuzzi room, and there is a sling. The house programmes themed nights and live sex shows on top of the ordinary run of the week.

It is men only. This is the capital's scene venue rather than a resort sauna, so the crowd is largely islanders, and it is the one place of its kind in the north-east of Tenerife.
