Venconmen is the men's sauna of Donostia, a few streets back from the Kursaal in the old town. It calls itself the gay sauna of San Sebastián.
Inside there is a Finnish sauna and a steam room, a cabin area, a dark room and an SM room. The bar has free wifi, beer and soft drinks. Entry includes a towel, flip-flops, a locker key, condoms and lubricant, so you can arrive with nothing at all.
Street clothes and shoes stay in the locker. The house rules ask you to move around in the towel and sandals they hand out or in your own swimwear, smoking is not allowed anywhere inside, and drugs mean being asked to leave on the spot. The management says the clientele is mixed in age and appearance and that everyone is welcome.
One midweek afternoon belongs to bears and older men. Massages are bookable in advance.
