Ca l'Enredus is the LGBTIQ+ space of Actuavallès, a Sabadell organisation that has worked on sexual health, HIV and social rights across the Vallès Occidental for more than three decades. It sits on Passeig de Gaudí, a few minutes from the town centre.
The work splits into two halves. One is individual: free, confidential accompaniment for LGBTIQ+ people, arranged in advance. The other is collective, and covers workshops, talks, sexual health information and campaigns against LGBTIphobia. A separate strand called Zona Kuir exists for people who want somewhere to meet rather than somewhere to be counselled.
It is open to LGBTIQ+ people, to their families and friends, and to professionals looking for training. Catalan and Spanish are both used.
Sabadell has no gay bar circuit of its own, so queer life here is organised rather than stumbled into. This is where much of that organising happens, and it is the sensible first stop for a visitor who wants to know what is on locally.
