Kamaleón is a dance pub on Calle Blanco in Puerto de la Cruz, on the same short street as the town's gay sauna and a few minutes from the bars on Avenida Familia de Betancourt y Molina.
It is one of the newer places on the town's gay scene and calls itself a new pub for Puerto de la Cruz. The room is laid out for dancing rather than sitting, with cocktails at the bar and music loud enough that it is not a place for conversation.
Puerto de la Cruz has a small, long-established scene that runs on regulars, and Kamaleón is the part of it that skews younger.
