La Dama de Ella is a women's bar on the pedestrian stretch of Carrer de la Fàbrica in Santa Catalina. It runs as a café with food during the day and fills up as a bar in the evening.
The terrace opens onto two streets, which is why the place spills outside for most of the year. The bar puts its weight on sourdough sandwiches, fresh produce, wine and craft beer, and the decoration is bohemian rather than polished.
It is the anchor of the lesbian scene in Palma and the official hub of the ELLA Festival, the international lesbian festival held on the island. Men are welcome; the crowd is mostly women.
