Bar Michel is a small corner bar on Avinguda de Joan Miró, the street below Bellver castle where most of Palma's gay venues have sat for decades. It works as a café with tapas during the day and turns into a bar in the evening.
The corner terrace is the point of the place. The food is Mediterranean and made in house, the room inside is small, and the crowd mixes regulars from the neighbourhood with visitors. The bar describes itself simply as a punto de encuentro, a meeting point.
