Boys Sauna is the only gay sauna in Oviedo, and the only one in Asturias. It sits on Calle Luis Braille in Pumarin, a residential district north-east of the old town rather than among the nightlife streets, so it is a short ride out from the centre.
The house runs over two floors and holds a Finnish sauna, a hammam, a jacuzzi, a darkroom and private cabins, some of them larger than the standard ones. There are lockers on both levels and a bar. A plan of the whole layout is published on the sauna's own site, which is rare enough to be worth knowing before a first visit.
The clientele is Asturian and almost entirely gay men. Quiet afternoons bring an older regular crowd; the place fills out at weekends.
