Neo Versache's is a gay bar on Calle Campoamor, the street that carries most of Oviedo's late-night traffic. It is the current form of Versache's, taken over by new management, and it kept both the name and the darkroom at the back.
Drag performers take the floor at weekends and a DJ covers the other nights. The crowd is mixed and mostly local, and the room fills late rather than early. The bar calls itself simply a pub de ambiente, the Spanish phrase for a place where being gay needs no explaining.
Discoteca Olympo stands a few doors along the same street, so the two work as one short walk. Between them they are most of what Oviedo's gay nightlife amounts to.
