Gio is the Italian restaurant on the ground floor of the Yumbo Centrum, and one of the few places in the centre where the food is the reason to go rather than an afterthought to the drinks. Handmade pizzas, fresh pasta, starters, salads and meat dishes.
It also serves breakfasts and sandwiches, which makes it useful earlier in the day than most of the centre. The room is fitted out in a restrained Italian style and it sits right by the staircase up to the fourth-floor bars, so it works as a first stop before the evening.
It is run together with the Ritz ice cream and pastry parlour nearby.
