Café Wien is a Viennese coffee house on the second floor of the Cita shopping centre in Playa del Ingles. It has been making coffee and pastries there for more than fifty years, and the cakes and tarts come out of its own bakery to traditional recipes.
The house style is a German and Austrian coffee house rather than a cafeteria, with breakfast served beside the cake counter. A rainbow runs under the name on the sign.
It sits in the same centre as the gay venues in the Cita basement, and calls itself your place to be.
