Bear Carnival Maspalomas 2027

Bear Carnival is a bear week in Maspalomas and one of the larger bear gatherings in Europe. The organisers count more than 3,000 bears and friends coming in from around the world.

The programme runs to sixty or seventy separate items across the ten days. Pool parties, club nights in the men-only venues of the Yumbo Centre, cabaret, dinners, yoga and tantra sessions, waterpark outings, and a catamaran cruise along the south coast that the organisers call a floating disco.

The week takes its name from the Maspalomas carnival and is scheduled around it in agreement with the town, so costumes are part of the deal. When the municipal grand parade has fallen inside the bear week in past years, the organisers have put on their own pool party and disco as an alternative for anyone who wants to stay in the bear bubble.

The tone is the reason a lot of people come back. The organisers describe it as attitude-free, and the crowd is mixed in age and body type.
