Mantrix is the main gay club in Gran Canaria, on the fourth floor of the Yumbo Centrum and spanning eleven units, which makes it by far the largest venue in the building. It is run by and for the gay community and works as much as a fixed point for residents as for visitors.
The music is international house from resident DJs. Behind the dance floor there is a cruising area with a darkroom and cabins, and there is a further room upstairs reached through the men's bathroom.
It opens after the bars have closed and runs until morning, so it is the last stop of the night rather than a place to start.
