Zaza opened in 1989 in the Cita Centre and moved to the Yumbo Centrum later, which makes it one of the oldest names in the Maspalomas scene. It changed hands in 2026 and reopened under new ownership.
It is a ground-floor terrace bar on the plaza with a range of beers on draught, and it has long had a reputation for the cheapest drinks in the centre. The atmosphere is unhurried and the terrace is set up for sitting and watching rather than for dancing.
Since the change of ownership it has also been screening football.
