The Copacabana is a cocktail and entertainment bar on the ground floor of the Yumbo Centrum, with a covered terrace onto the walkway and the bar counter open behind it. By day it is somewhere to sit outside with a spritz. Later the room turns over to drag, themed evenings and live entertainment, and the bar runs that programme under a name of its own, the House of Lola.
The bar pours more than sixty cocktails, the classics alongside its own signatures, and there are alcohol-free versions as well as wine and beer. It describes its crowd as a mix of gay and straight guests, couples and people travelling on their own, and calls itself a gay bar on its own site.
It occupies the units that were Bar Diamonds, and that bar's own site now says it has become the Copacabana. The Copacabana itself dates its anniversary from 2023, so anyone looking for the old name at this address will find this bar instead.
