Hummel Hummel is one of the oldest exclusively gay bars in the Yumbo Centrum; by the centre's own account it was the second of its kind to open there. The name is the Hamburg greeting, and the bar keeps a German character.
It is on the ground floor with a terrace, and it draws an older crowd than the bars on the upper floors. People come to sit and talk rather than to dance, and the guides that cover it describe it as a meeting place for the more mature generation.
