Buddies is a bar and grill on the ground floor of the Yumbo Centrum, at local 131-12/13, and one of the longest-running places in the centre. Unlike most of its neighbours it serves proper food through the day as well as drinks at night.
That makes it one of the few Yumbo venues that is useful before the evening starts. It runs a weekly quiz and bingo night that raises money for charity, and it is one of the venues that fills up during Pride and the island's fetish weeks.
