Bärenhöhle is the bear bar of the Yumbo Centrum and the longest-running one on the island. The name is German for bear's den, and the room is decorated with hundreds of teddy bears sent in from around the world.
It is on the ground floor on the plaza, next to the China Town Restaurant, with a terrace out front. Bears and their admirers are the core crowd but the bar is not restrictive about it, and fetish is welcome without the place being a fetish venue.
It runs its own parties during the island's bear events.
