Adonis is a bar and cafe on the ground floor of the Yumbo Centrum, running since October 1996. It is one of the German-leaning places in the centre, with Veltins and Gaffel Kolsch on draught alongside Nespresso coffee, sangria and homemade cocktails.
The layout splits between standing tables inside and a large terrace out on the walkway, which is where most people sit. The crowd is international and mixed in age, and the bar works as much as a daytime coffee stop as a place to start the night.
It sits in the busiest part of the ground floor, so it is an easy first stop before moving up through the centre.
