La Comedia is Málaga's LGBT nightclub, in the old town in the rooms of the former Sala Velvet. It opened in the summer of 2018 and was the first venue in the city built from the start as a queer club rather than a bar that turned into one.
Drag is the centre of the programme, with shows running most nights of the week and a room that keeps going until early morning. The look is glamorous and deliberately theatrical, and the crowd is mixed rather than men only.
Its own line is "tu club de ambiente", your scene club, which is what it is: the place the Merced bars empty into when they close.
