Sauna Octopus is the bear sauna in Madrid, just over 1,000 square metres on Calle de Churruca between Chueca and Malasana. The crowd is bears, chubs, otters, cubs and older men, and the atmosphere is noticeably more body-positive than at the city's other saunas.
Facilities are a heated pool with pressure jets, a Finnish sauna and Turkish bath, around twenty private cabins, a darkroom, a cinema room and a BDSM zone with equipment. There is a bar for drinks and snacks, plus showers, lockers and wifi.
Entry includes a towel, slippers, a locker and a condom. Tribunal and Bilbao are the nearest metro stops, and the bear bars on Calle Pelayo are a short walk away.
