DLRO Live opened as Delirio in 2004 and still answers to both names in Chueca. It is a club and a performance venue at once, with a stage that gets used most nights for drag, live singing, dance acts and DJ sets.
The building has two levels. Upstairs is a cocktail bar with flair bartending and a smaller stage. Downstairs is the main hall, a bigger room with a proper light rig and a stage that gets reconfigured depending on what is booked.
Beyond the club nights it puts on drag competitions, charity galas and exhibitions, and works with Madrid LGBTQ organisations around Pride and HIV awareness. The crowd is mixed and it runs very late.
