Casa Llibertat is an adults-only bed and breakfast in a traditional finca in Llíber, in the Jalón valley behind the Costa Blanca, with its own vineyard around the house. Two men from Amsterdam run it, and they say of it that it is a place where you can truly be yourself.
There are two ground-floor rooms, Parcent and Alcalali, each with a private bathroom, and Alcalali has its own entrance. The Senija apartment is on the first floor and sleeps four, and Casita Benigembla is a small separate house by the pool, also for up to four. Larger groups can take the whole place.
The pool looks out over the valley, and there is a jacuzzi and a sauna. Breakfast is made from local and seasonal produce, with eggs, fruit, yoghurt and croissants, and gluten-free options on request. A masseur can be booked, two e-bikes are for hire, and the hosts organise padel coaching and guided walks in the valley. The beaches at Calpe and Benissa are about 15 minutes away by car.
