JJ sits at the far end of Carrer de la Mare de Déu, past most of the other bars on the lane. It calls itself the first gay bar in Ibiza.
Inside it is closer to a pub than to the cocktail terraces further down the street, and there is a balcony looking over the port. There is a dark room. Staff work in English, French and Spanish, which on this street is worth knowing.
Cocktails are the house speciality, mojitos above all. The bar puts its own line as 'good music, good vibes', and the room is small enough that it delivers on the first part without anyone having to shout over it.
