About

La Sal has been open on Calle Santa Paula since 1988 by its own count, which makes it the oldest queer venue in Granada. It is a small, dim room rather than a club, and it has kept the same character through several changes of hand.

The crowd leans strongly towards women and has done for decades. This is the city's lesbian bar first and a mixed queer space second: gay men and straight friends drink there too and nobody minds. Pop and dance music, loud enough to dance to in a room that has not much space for it.

It sits a few doors from Six Colours, so the two usually get done in the same evening.
