Villa Antalaya is a bed and breakfast in a tropical-colonial style villa on the Partida de Empedrola, in the hills above Calpe, with views of the Peñón de Ifach and the Bernia ridge. The two hosts spent two years renovating the house before opening it to guests.
There are two guest suites on the first floor, each with a private entrance, a shower room and its own terrace over the garden towards the mountains and the sea. Suite Peñon sleeps up to four, with a sofa bed in its sitting area. Suite Bambù is a double.
The garden is planted with palms and tropical flowers and has several fountains, and the 15-metre mosaic pool has a massage cascade and a jacuzzi area. Breakfast is served by the pool and includes hot dishes cooked in the house. Massages, a barber, themed dinners and barbecues can be arranged on request.
The same hosts also let two self-catering apartments: Belinoti in a residential complex near Benissa Costa, and Dextella in the centre of Calpe, a short walk from the Arenal-Bol beach.
