Sauna Element is the smaller and quieter of Bilbao's two gay saunas, around 650 square metres in the central Abando district. It is men only.
The facilities are a dry sauna, a steam room, a jacuzzi, showers, lockers and private cabins, with a cafe bar attached and cruising areas including a dark room. The rooms are modern and kept in good order.
The mood is more relaxed than at the other sauna in the city and the crowd is generally older. Visiting party promoters occasionally take the place over for one-off events.
