West End Showbar is a cabaret bar in the Rincón de Loix part of Benidorm, away from the old town gay village and closer to the Levante beach end of the resort. It has been running since 2016.
The programme is drag and vocalists, booked from the Benidorm circuit and from the United Kingdom, and the room is built around the stage rather than around the bar. There is a bottomless brunch as well as the evening shows, and a food menu alongside the drinks.
It is a mixed room rather than a men's bar: hen and stag parties and birthdays are part of the trade, and the audience is overwhelmingly British. The bar's own motto is that you arrive a stranger and leave a friend.
