Jimmy's Bar is on Carrer d'Alacant, one of the four or five old town streets that make up the Benidorm gay village. The front is a neon rainbow sign, which tells you most of what you need to know about who the bar is for.
Inside it is a long, narrow room with a well stocked back bar and screens above it. There is a terrace on the street, and in practice that is where most people sit. The bar runs in Spanish and English, and the crowd is a mix of Spanish regulars and British visitors.
It is a drinking and talking bar rather than a club. The bar's own shorthand for itself is drinks, friends and good atmosphere.
