Menuda Lagarta Plaza is the terrace half of a two-venue LGBTIQ+ operation in Alicante's old town. It sits on Plaza San Cristobal, a small square in El Barrio, with tables outside on the square itself.
This is the earlier of the two, where people start the night before the sister venue on Calle Virgen de Belen opens its dance floor. Drag shows, bingo and other performances run here through the year.
The group is loud about being an LGTB+ space rather than a bar that tolerates one, and takes a float to Alicante Pride.
