About this Event
Madeira Pride is the island's Pride and it happens in Funchal. It pairs a march through the city with an arraial, the Portuguese street party of food stalls, music and dancing that normally belongs to the summer saints' festivals.
It is the only Pride in the archipelago, and it sits at the end of the mainland season rather than in June with most of the others.
