About this Event
The Marsz Równości comes back to Lublin after a break. Its slogan reaches into the city's own history, borrowing the phrasing of the Union of Lublin: Wolne z wolnymi, Równe z równymi, and closing with Idź z nami, bo Lublin jest wspólny.
The organisers put it as a broad alliance rather than a march for one group, and have invited social organisations, cultural institutions and the universities to walk in it. Recognition of same sex partnerships by the state is one of the stated demands.
A Miasteczko Równości goes up in the city alongside the march, with stands from NGOs, informal groups and cultural initiatives, and a Kultura dla Równości strand of artistic events runs with it.
