About this Event
Trondheim Pride runs for nine days at the start of September and ends with the parade. The programme mixes workshops, drag shows, film screenings, panel talks, a Pride run and club nights, spread across venues in the city centre including Rosendal Teater, ISAK kultursenter, the public library, Havet Arena and Trondelag Teater. Most of it is free, and the ticketed events are in the region of 80 to 110 kroner.
The parade sets off from Kongens gate at noon on Saturday 12 September and ends at Torvet, where the parade show follows with speeches and live music. Private individuals do not need to sign up for it. Turning up on the day is enough.
The festival is run by volunteers and belongs to FRI Trondelag, the regional branch of Norway's association for gender and sexual diversity.
