Skeiv Scene is a queer organiser collective in Trondheim. Five volunteers run it, they put around nine hundred hours a year into it between them, and it was registered as a voluntary organisation in 2023.
The point of it is to give queer artists somewhere to perform and the queer community somewhere to go. The main format is an open queer stage held about once a month, with music, performance and a turn at the microphone for whoever wants one. The collective has no hall of its own and hires one, Havet Arena at Nyhavna among them, so the address changes with the programme.
There is a Pride edition during the festival. The collective is supported by the city of Trondheim and by Balansekunst.
