Il Gay Più Bello d'Italia is a national contest that finishes every August at Mamamia in Torre del Lago. Regional heats run across Italy through the spring and early summer, and the semi-final and the final are held here on two consecutive nights.
The contest started in 2015 and took over from the older Mister Gay Italia. The organisers present it as a visibility event for gay men in Italy, and the finalists appear across the club's stage programme in the same week.
It sits inside Torre Pride Fest, so these two nights land in the middle of the busiest stretch of the club's year.
Mamamia is on Viale Europa, the strip that runs down to the beach.
