About this Event
Wuppertal walks its CSD the length of the valley. The demonstration starts in Barmen and finishes in Elberfeld, which means several kilometres of city between the two ends rather than a loop around one square.
The motto for 2026 is "Queeres Leben braucht Verbündete", queer life needs allies, and the organisers march with city institutions and local groups rather than on their own.
A cultural programme called "Queer durchs Tal" leads up to the demonstration, spreading events across venues in both halves of the city.
