About this Event
Schorndorf gets its first CSD in 2026 and it starts on the Unterer Marktplatz in the old town. It is organised by the local alliance against racism and right wing extremism rather than by a queer collective, which gives the day an openly anti fascist framing and a broader set of people behind it.
The town lies in the Remstal east of Stuttgart, at the end of an S-Bahn line. There is no queer venue here and the nearest scene is in Stuttgart, so a first CSD in the town centre is a statement about the town rather than an addition to a scene.
The organisers were still looking for sponsors over the summer, so the size of the stage programme may change between now and the day.
