Norden in East Frisia holds its Pride in October on purpose. The Herbst Pride, autumn Pride, grew out of an initiative of the town's youth parliament in 2024, and its point is that queer visibility does not end when June does.
This is the third edition, organised by the association Queeres Norden. The demonstration starts on the Marktplatz and walks through the town centre, with speeches, music, information stands and food afterwards. The 2026 motto is "Wellen schlagen! Mit frischem Wind für Vielfalt", making waves with a fresh wind for diversity, which suits a town on the North Sea coast.
It is one of the last Prides of the German season and one of very few in the north-west after the summer.
