About this Event
A talk on HIV and migration at Bar jeder Sicht, the bar of the queer culture and community centre in Mainz. HIV treatment works well today, but access to counselling, testing and care is not the same for everyone, and people with a migration background often meet extra barriers.
The evening looks at what those barriers are, the part stigma and exclusion play in them, and what fair care in Germany and Europe would need. An expert from a patient advocacy organisation is the guest, with a moderator from a national HIV network. The talk is held in German and is organised by AIDS-Hilfe Mainz.
