About this Event
Landshut holds the eighth edition of its Christopher Street Day in 2026. It is the largest of the three that one association runs across Lower Bavaria, the others being in Kelheim and Straubing.
Lower Bavaria is rural, Catholic and conservative, and the association describes the CSD as its most important project for exactly that reason. The day pairs the demonstration through the old town with a rally and a stage programme.
One feature is unusual for a German CSD: an open air queer church service, put on jointly by the local Protestant and Catholic deaneries together with the association.
