About this Event
CSD Lautre is the Christopher Street Day in Kaiserslautern, named after what locals call the city. It gathers on the Schillerplatz and combines the demonstration with a cultural programme that runs well past it.
The organisers put music, drag, art, theatre, poetry, film and literature on the same bill as the political part, and they run an awareness team for the day. Information stands and community actions fill the square.
Kaiserslautern sits in the Palatinate with the Pfälzerwald on its doorstep, and the CSD is the main queer date in this corner of Rhineland-Palatinate.
