Club Sauna Berlin is a gay sauna club in a roughly 400 square metre basement space on Mehringdamm in Kreuzberg, in the rooms of a former club and run by the same company as the neighbouring BOILER sauna. There is a Finnish sauna, a steam room with warm stone seating, a foam corner used for dedicated events, a bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with light snacks, and two gender-neutral bathroom and shower areas, one of them with its own hygiene centre. Lockers are keyed digitally and the same key doubles as a drinks card.
Some nights are dedicated to specific communities, among them FLINTA people (women, lesbian, inter, non-binary, trans and agender), trans and non-binary people, and gay and bisexual men including trans men. Where no group is named, an event is open to everyone. The venue describes its aim as giving the queer community a protected space to sweat together in a respectful, relaxed atmosphere.
The entrance is in the basement, so the space is not step-free; staff can help on request.
