My new Favorit Place.
Delicious beyond belief ❤️❤️❤️
The food was incredible and please look at those cakes
My new favorite work café in Berlin.
Came here on a Tuesday at 11AM and stayed until 4PM — it was perfect for working: not busy at all, calm background music (didn’t even need headphones), and a laid-back, cozy vibe. The place is big but feels warm and inviting, with great natural light thanks to huge windows facing a quiet park. Lots of greenery and sunshine, which made it even better.
I had the breakfast plate (€14.80) — absolutely massive and insanely good. I’m a big eater and I still struggled to finish it: bacon, cheese, salad, müsli, fruit, and a ton of homemade bread that was honestly amazing. Also tried the hash browns Florentine (€15) — super tasty.
WiFi was crazy fast — speed test showed 350 Mbps. Plus, there are power outlets near some of the tables. It ticked all the boxes for me: great food, peaceful environment, fast internet, and a beautiful, spacious setting. Will definitely be back.
Plus they accept card payments!
That was a very pleasant first visit for dinner at Das Hoven, but for sure not the last!
Pea bruschetta as a starter, red beetroot tagliatelle and chicken schnitzel with mashed potatoes as main courses were super delicious.
Good value for money, reasonable prices and big portions!
The coffee after dinner was a good finish to the visit.
Looking forward to having breakfast or lunch in this cozy restaurant with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere.
The taste and arrangements of the food was not impressive this time. We had lunch in the afternoon, surrounded by people with laptops (guess it’s a good working cafe at this hours). Brunch last time was better.
The food was not good. The spinat spaetzle had some not fresh mushrooms that were making the whole plate taste sour.
Costumer service was ok.
