GAYWIESN 2026

19 Sep 2026 - 01 Nov 2026 | Berlin, Germany

About this Event

GAYWIESN is a queer Oktoberfest that Propaganda Events has run in Berlin since 2008. It calls itself Berlin's first and biggest queer Oktoberfest, and the 2026 season is the nineteenth.

The address changes this year. The Spreewiesn, the beer hall the event has always been part of, has moved into the Berliner Hofbräu Wirtshaus at Alexanderplatz, and the second event floor there is fitted out as the Wiesn hall. Long tables and benches under the usual hut decoration.

Seven dates make up the season. Two are specials: the official queer tapping of the first barrel on 19 September, and a joint party with Queerwiesn on 25 September. The other five are Sundays, on 4, 11, 18 and 25 October and on 1 November.

Every date has a live band, a drag show, hosted games and DJ sets. Lederhosen, Dirndl and ordinary clothes are equally at home, and the event describes itself as a space free of prejudice. Groups book for birthdays and stag nights, and a table seats up to ten.
