Berlin CSD 2026

24.07.2026 - 25.07.2026 | Berlin, Germany

About this Event

Berlin's Christopher Street Day typically draws around one million people and counts among the biggest pride events anywhere in Europe. The 2026 edition, the 48th, adds a second day for the first time.
The weekend starts on Friday evening, 24 July, with a rally at Brandenburg Gate. Three stages run from 18:00 to 23:00, mixing live music and artistic acts with political speeches.
Saturday, 25 July, follows the familiar format. The parade leaves Leipziger Straße at noon and moves through central Berlin via Potsdamer Platz and Nollendorfplatz, reaching Brandenburg Gate by way of the Siegessäule. At the Pride Village on Straße des 17. Juni, the closing rally kicks off at around 15:00 with live performances and the Soul of Stonewall Award ceremony. The programme runs until roughly midnight.
The motto this year is "Haltung ist hot", loosely translated as "Attitude is hot". It is aimed squarely at Berlin's Abgeordnetenhaus election in September 2026. For the first time, 16- and 17-year-olds will be able to vote in Berlin, and the CSD campaign leans into that with slogans like "Deine Stimme steht dir gut" ("Your vote suits you"). The broader campaign runs throughout Pride Month, from 26 June until the election on 20 September.
CSD Berlin dates back to 30 June 1979, when 450 people marched through West Berlin under the slogan "Gay Pride". The event commemorates the Stonewall uprising of 28 June 1969 in New York, when patrons of the Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street resisted a police raid and sparked days of street protests.
The parade and rally are free. The official party House of Pride 2026 takes place at AQUAHÖFE Berlin in Kreuzberg (Ritter Butzke, Kreuzwerk, Modus Berlin). Doors open at 21:00 on Saturday and the music runs for over twelve hours into Sunday morning, spread across seven areas with more than 50 artists. Tickets cost between €20 and €75. Revenue supports Berliner CSD e.V. and community projects including Tuntenhaus Berlin and Budapest Pride.
Pride Month Berlin runs from 26 June to 25 July 2026, with film screenings, exhibitions, panel discussions and parties across the city.
