Boyberry Berlin

Cruising | Bars | Darkrooms in Berlin, Germany

About

Boyberry Berlin occupies one of Schöneberg's most storied addresses: Motzstraße 19, the long-time home of Tom's Bar. When the Boyberry brand arrived in Berlin in March 2024, it brought with it a concept already well established in Madrid and Barcelona, making the German capital the third city in the group's growing portfolio.
The venue is men-only and operates on two distinct levels. At street level, a spacious bar runs almost the full width of the room, with large windows onto Motzstraße giving the space a brighter, more open feel than its predecessor. Seating areas and standing space allow guests to relax, socialise and take in the crowd. A dedicated indoor smoking area is also available. The bar's corner position at the junction of Motzstraße and Eisenacher Straße puts it squarely at the heart of Berlin's gay Kiez, within easy walking distance of Nollendorfplatz.
Beyond the bar, a substantial cruising area awaits, comprising private cabins, glory holes, a darkroom, a maze and larger communal spaces with seating and beds. The layout allows guests to move freely between the social and more private areas, with consumption at the bar granting access to the cruising zone. The space pays subtle homage to its predecessor, with the original Tom's Bar sign displayed near the facilities.
Boyberry Berlin attracts a broad demographic and an international crowd, with a noticeably younger clientele alongside regulars from across the age range. Regular events and promotions keep the programme varied, including a monthly 20x20 night and a Tuesday discount offer for under-30s. Fetish gear is welcome, though there is no strict dress code.

Boyberry is a bar mostly for young pals with a cool atmosphere, there's a lively crowd, and it's very busy on weekend nights. Dark room and cruising area available.

I once left my leather jacket on a chair and was able to pick it up the next evening. It was surprisingly pleasant, and that kind of thing doesn't happen often in Berlin.

Amazing place in the heart of Berlin’s gay life. Always a great atmosphere, very friendly and hot staff, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy yourself. Definitely one of the must-visit spots in the area.

I visited this place for the first time a few days ago, since it was my first visit, I wasn't familiar with how everything worked, but one of the bartenders Maxim was super friendly and helpful. He took his time to explain everything, gave great recommendations, and made me feel comfortable right away. The service was top-notch, the vibe was amazing, and the boys were hot! I met so many good people and had fun whole night! like to thank the bartender
Maxim!! he truly made the evening special.
I'II definitely be coming there often !! Good job guys !!!!!

It was my first visit to this gay bar in Berlin.Tge drinks were not expensive ,I liked the atmosphere. But I stayed there to 12 at night on a Saturday night.Almost nothing happened.I mean there were music and some people, but it felt so distance and empty at the same time.Nothing happened at the cruising are either.Just some people moving around..and thus was Saturday night... At the end I just left .So litte exitment and boring to bee honest.

This is a disgraceful place, this man who said he was named Jhon (Which I think he lied) a bartender was VERY rude, he grabbed me by the arm and told me to leave the place because I haven’t order a drink, was literally one minute that I was in, he screamed at me, which got me super choked, humiliating in front of everyone, instead of politely telling me to order something! I don’t think anyone is entitled to touch someone and scream at them to order a drink without even asking a single question, i am a flight attendant and social media influencer, i have never experienced such a horrible thing before in any other city, I know Germans are known to be rude but this is super sad and disgusting treatment to who are supporting tourism in their country ! DONT EVER GO THERE, there’s plenty of better place in the same area!
