Prinzknecht has been on Fuggerstr. in Schoeneberg since 1999 and describes itself as a Maennerkneipe, a men's pub. The room is long, with a big bar down one side, exposed brick, industrial lamps and screens showing sport.
It is one of the main meeting points for the leather, fetish and bear crowd in Berlin, but the door is not strict and the early evening is more pub than fetish bar. Later it fills up and the mix widens. There is outdoor seating on the pavement in summer and a darkroom at the back.
The bar hosts puppy meets, birthdays and stag parties alongside its regular nights. English is spoken.
