Moebel-Olfe is a queer bar at Kottbusser Tor in Kreuzberg, in a former furniture shop whose name it kept. The entrance is easy to miss: it is in the passage under the housing block between a Rossmann and a snack bar, with a second door on Dresdner Str.
The room is raw, loud and usually packed, with cheap Polish beer and vodka and a crowd that is queer, mixed and local rather than touristy. Tuesday is a FLINTA* evening. Other nights are broadly gay-leaning but nobody polices it.
It sits within a few minutes of Suedblock and SO36, which makes Kottbusser Tor easy to work through in one evening. Cash is safer than card.
