This Shop Is So Gay is a queer gift shop on Parliament Street in the middle of York. It describes itself as a fabulously gay shop that welcomes everyone except homophobes, and the painted shopfront in yellow and pink is hard to walk past.
The stock is small, funny and mostly handmade or designed in-house: enamel pins, magnets, keyrings, stickers, rainbow Christmas baubles and little rainbow ghosts, with a lot of lesbian and trans jokes in the mix. The same range is sold online.
